Philosophy

       My philosophy of education has a heavy focus on the learner.  I think that in order to be successful in a schooling environment, teachers must provide students with a positive working environment that in conducive to learning.  Students should feel safe and supported in their classroom.  My philosophy also supports students learning practical and useful knowledge that they can apply to their lives.  My long term goals as a teacher are to improve my skills every day.  I want to be able to provide every student with quality support through their educational journey. I want to give my students all of the necessary skills they need in order for them to live a happy life.  I want students to leave my classroom with useful knowledge that they can take with them and apply to their lives.
